Camp Scholarship Fund

We ask each Camper and staff to donate unique items that can be sold to raise money for our Camp Scholarship Fund. This fund is used to help students attend Camp who otherwise may not be able to. You are invited to bring anything you would like for an auction. The donations do not need to be hooking related. If you, or someone you know, needs financial assistance, please contact Linda Dipert. Scholarships are awarded each year, and all awards are kept anonymous. The auction is held after dinner one evening during Camp and provides a lot of fun for everyone.

Karen Kahle releases Rug-packed video

Take a front row seat as Karen shares about her sources of inspiration and styles of rug hooking. Order on DVD or VHS through her website at: PrimitiveSpiritRugs.com.

Linda's Notes

I mailed a box of British Wool Scarves to a hooking teacher who had ordered them. Instead of being delivered to her, they were delivered to the shoe company of the box that I recycled. The shoe company called to let me know they had received it in error, but that they loved the scarves so much, they wanted to keep them and send me a check! Just another form of marketing! - Linda Dipert, owner, cheapsheep.com

Testimonial!

"Last year in August I went to Briarwood in Argyle. It is put on by Linda Dipert. It is the first week of August so maybe that will work for you. The teacher was Karen Kahle and she will be there again this year. I am tempted to do this one if I can swing it. Though it was intense, looking back on the experience it was EXCELLENT. Linda does a superb job of running a camp and Karen is an amazing teacher. The accommodations are nice and the food is wonderful." - Martha Reynolds, President of North Texas Rug Hooker (from a chat room! We thank Martha for her recommendation.)
